Sukhdeep Singh Decides Xhuljo Vrenozi in Toronto

United Boxing Promotions held a card in Toronto on Saturday with a scheduled 10-round middleweight bout between Sukhdeep Singh 12-0 and Xhuljo Vrenozi 18-4. Singh displayed effective aggressiveness in the beginning while Vrenozi managed to maintain distance. The second saw Singh continue to spy on his men. Vrenozi played equally well in the third round, but Singh did better thanks to his ring champion and more effective punching ability.
Singh seems to have turned up the heat a bit in the fourth season. While it is true that Vrenozi fought hard, he did not fight well enough to control the taller and sleeker Singh. With that in mind, Vrenozi proved more aggressive in the fifth round. Singh appears to hurt his man in the sixth installment, after which Vrenozi loses his mouthpiece a second time, winning himself precious seconds. Singh then threw Vrenozi on the carpet and fired a shot while his opponent was lying down. However, the referee didn’t seem to notice.
Singh seems to be in control in season seven, though neither man seems able to really hurt the other. Vrenozi moved too much for Singh to actually get him eighth – although it was clear that Singh won the match. The ninth round offers essentially the same things. The final round saw Vrenozi show no interest in having to stretch himself to win. Singh is clearly the one who has the upper hand over the two boxers. It can be said that Singh left with a unanimous decision to win, thanks to the courtesy of the referees and showing more bravery than the opponent.
