SUKE Expressway Toll Rate Announced – RM2.30 per station at Ampang and Bukit Teratai toll stations from October 15
Fees have been announced for Sungai Besi-Ulu Kelang Overhead Expressway (SUKE)and the toll will be effective from 12:01 a.m. Saturday (midnight tonight), October 15, 2022, and the section along the SUKE expressway has a toll of RM2.30 through each toll station for Class 1 vehicle or passenger vehicle.
This applies to the Ampang and Bukit Teratai toll stations, located in the first phase of the expressway that has been opened to traffic. The opened phase 1 phase 1 is 16.6 km long, going from the Cheras-Kajang interchange to Bukit Antarabangsa.
The third toll station in the unopened section is Alam Damai; assuming the same fee of RM2.30 is applied to Alam Damai toll station, class 1 vehicle users will have to pay a total of RM6.90 to travel the full length of SUKE in one direction.
With the official opening of Phase 1 of SUKE last month, new highway users with Malaysia’s first spiral ramp has been given free travel for a period of one month from its opening mid-September 16, 2022.
A total of 14 interchanges lie along the length of SUKE’s main line, or 57.7 km if the length of all interchanges is included; these are Sri Petaling, Sungai Besi, Alam Damai, Cheras-Kajang, Cheras-Hartamas, Bukit Teratai, Tasik Tambahan, Permai, Kosas, Pekan Ampang, Ampang Point, Ulu Kelang, Hillview and Bukit Antarabangsa. As mentioned, the currently open stretch is from Cheras-Kajang (on Grand Saga, near Plaza Phoenix) to Bukit Antarabangsa.
More recently, the highway franchiser Prolintas also opened Damansara-Shah Alam Overhead Expressway (DASH)opens at midnight October 14, 2022 and will be free until November 30, 2022.
