St. Louis County responds to 200 car break-ins | St. Louis News Headlines


EARTH CITY, Mo. (KMOV.com) — A rash of automobile break-ins has officers within the St. Louis space on edge.

The St. Louis County Police Division mentioned officers discovered 50 automobiles with damaged home windows and/or objects stolen from within the 13300 block of Lakefront Drive in Earth Metropolis on November 4. The division mentioned an Amazon facility in Fenton was additionally hit that evening, with at the very least eight automobiles discovered with damaged home windows and/or objects stolen from them.

“It is an epidemic in St. Louis County we have by no means seen in 30 years of legislation enforcement. I’ve by no means seen the variety of automobile break-ins we have had in the previous few months,” Councilman Tim Fitch mentioned.
