The work crystal magnets are made of acrylic and have the same meaning as the soul crystals used in the game. As in previous versions, each magnet has a different color and the corresponding class symbol is engraved on them. They are now available for pre-order from Square Enix electronic shop in Japan for 495 yen (about $3.72). Items are still available in North American storefront for $5.50 each.
This announcement along with the news of the new job class magnet based on the Sage’s and Death’s soul crystals shared in the latest Final Fantasy XIV Letter from LXXVI LIVE Part Manufacturer. New Fan Festival goods 2023 were also announced during the broadcast, including a Loporrit figurine, an Amaurot-themed laptop case, and a neck pillow stuffed with Ambystoma, Morbol Seedling, and Mameshiba designs.
During transmission, FFXIVDirector and producer Naoki Yoshida also shared more info on patch 6.4 coming out late May 2023. This update will bring a new trial featuring Final Fantasy IV villain Golbez.
Final Fantasy XIV available for PS4, PS5 and PC. Work-grade acrylic magnets will be added in Japan with a release date set for April 23, 2023.
