Spongik is an environmentally pleasant and zero-waste different to traditional polyurethane kitchen sponges (which take 52 000 years to degrade) and plastic dishwashing liquid bottles. The Spongik set features a versatile sponge dryer in addition to cellulose and hemp sponges infused with chemical-free dishwashing cleaning soap.
The ergonomic water drop form completely matches in hand, whereas the sharp edge is designed to scrub hard-to-reach corners of glasses and bowls. The sponge tackles the hardest jobs, but it’s light sufficient to not scratch the dishes and the non-stick layer of the pans and pots.
The Spongik kitchen set is made from 100% biodegradable supplies: cellulose, cotton, hemp, pure cleaning soap, diatomaceous earth.
When the moist sponge is positioned on the Spongik dryer, the moisture and micro organism get pulled out from the sponge. Diatomaceous materials attracts and binds micro organism, inflicting them to dry out and die. Fast elimination of moisture helps the dishwashing sponge to dry quicker and cut back the breeding of the micro organism.
