Some Southwest Airlines Cardholders will be rewarded, with the airline launching a “celebration bonus” promotion that rewards loyalty cardholders.

How to View Your Southwest Anniversary Rewards
Southwest credit cardholders can access SouthwestCardAnniversary.com and provide their name and Express Rewards number.
However, some cardholders receive error messages. If you see red text with an error message after providing your information, you are not eligible for the Southwest anniversary bonus.
Southwest Anniversary Bonus Available
You can choose your rewards between March 1 and April 30. Options for cardholders include:
- Tier Eligibility Score for List status A.
- Companion Pass Eligibility Points.
- Reward Points.
The number of points offered will vary based on how long you have had your Southwest credit card. Therefore, you may be offered as little as 250 or as much as 2,000. The best deals seem to be reserved for those with more than 20 years of Southwest cardholders.
Note that whether you choose TQP, CPQ or bonus points, the score is the same.
The terms state that choosing TQP will count towards A-List or A-List Preferred status but not towards Companion Pass qualification. Likewise, the option for CPQ will count towards the Companion Card but not the A-List or A-List Preferred certificate. The terms also state that it can take up to eight weeks for the bonus you choose to appear in your account.

Some Southwest cardholders are receiving another gift by email: a discount code valid for 20% off a booking made for short-term travel. To be eligible, the trip must be booked with points and take place within 14 days of booking.
bottom line
Southwest cardholders can choose anniversary rewards. However, not all cardholders are eligible for the offer. If an availability option means the difference between achieving Companion Card or A-List status this year, it could be valuable to your loved ones. If not, points may be your best bet.
