Mark your calendars, as Sony will live stream its Play status on September 13, 2022. The show will air on YouTube and Twitch from 3:00 pm PST / 6 pm EST. According to the announcement via PlayStation BlogState of Play will run for about 20 minutes and feature 10 games for PS4, PS5, and PS VR2.
While the PlayStation Blog doesn’t mention what trailers will appear for this, it does state that it will feature announcements from developers around the world, not just Japan. The last state of play aired in June 2022 and some of the games that appeared in it include Final Fantasy XVI, Resident Evil 4 Remakeand 6 . street fighter. Because how Tokyo Game Show just around the corner, it’s unclear if Sony is taking the opportunity to get its announcements out before the show or is holding back more to stock up on the proper TGS.
Sony’s State of Play will air a few days before Tokyo Game Show, will take place from September 15, 2022. There will most likely be another big live stream on September 13 in addition to State of Play. Nintendo will also broadcast a Nintendo Direct on September 13, 2022 from 7:00 AM PST / 10:00 AM EST.
