Shell Recharge Tapah Southern DC Charger – 180 kW CCS2, pre-booked via ParkEasy, RM4 per minute
Shell Recharge has launched a 180 kW DC charger at Shell Station at Tapah R&R southbound. This will be the sixth charger installed in partnership with Porsche in Malaysia.
Pre-booking and payment for chargers can be done using Shell’s ParkEasy app. In the app, select Shell HPC Southbound and then Tapah. Use our referral code R88W3N2T when you Download the ParkEasy app and you will get some free credits to try.
As with other 180 kW Shell chargers, even though the hardware has dual CCS2 guns, only one can be used. The single gun is configured to produce a maximum charging power of 180 kW. If Shell chooses to activate the second gun for future use, each gun will likely produce up to 90 kW of power each.
With a base membership with no annual fee, a 180 kW charger costs RM4 per minute with a minimum ParkEasy balance of RM200 before you can start charging. You can reserve the charger 10 minutes in advance. You can also Collect BonusLink points when you deposit.
Shell Recharge Gold & Platinum members can reserve the charger for up to 1 hour and charge at a rate Cheaper rates as low as RM1 per minutebut must pay annual membership fee.
This southbound charger in Perak is complemented by Charger Simpang Pulai in the north direction. Other 180 kW Shell Recharge chargers are in Pagoh to the north, Seremban to the north, Seremban to the south, Tangkak facing south.
