“I think it’s the right time for her,” said Hall of Fame coach Todd Pletcher.

“She was supposed to run back to New York, but she missed a bit of time. We got her down here and she did a good job,” Pletcher said. “As opposed to sending her back north, we thought we’d give her a little more time here.”

“I usually get my horse a little dirty in the face. She backed off a little further than I thought she would, but she showed an amazingly honest spin. She’s a very good person. She has seems to be getting better, possibly reminiscent of Crazy beautiful last year,” said McPeek, who carried Crazy Beautiful to victory at Gulfstream Park Oaks (G2) in 2021.

The most recent purebred cat finished third at the Fern Creek Stakes in Churchill on Nov. 27. Jose Ortiz is scheduled to ride Sweet Dani Girl for the first time in the Davona Dale.
