David Exwood, vice president of the NFU, said: “Take a collaborative approach and set up an intergovernmental task force – which includes Defra, the Department of Home Affairs, the Department of Justice, the National Council of Chiefs of Police. and the Association of Police & Crime Commissions – will be crucial if we are to prevent further impacts from crime on farm businesses, both financially and emotionally.”
