RON97 petrol price updated for the week of July 3, 2022 – premium petrol price reduced by 5 sen to RM 4.75/liter
Today is Wednesday which means we will once again update fuel prices in Malaysia weekly. The Ministry of Finance has announced the retail prices of fuels for the next week from July 14 to July 20, 2022.
The latest announcement shows that the price of RON 97 gasoline will continue to decrease, down five sen compared to price last week to RM4.75 per liter, continuing a downward trend compared to record high in the fourth week of June for premium gasoline.
As before, the more affordable RON 95 petrol continues to be pegged to a ceiling price of RM 2.05 per liter, according to government regulations in Last February. Diesel continues to be maintained, where Euro 5 B10 and B20 blends continue to be priced at RM2.15/litre. Likewise, Euro 5 B7 diesel continues at the same distance 20 sen higher, remaining at RM2.35/liter.
This price is valid from midnight tonight until July 20, 2022, when the next fuel price update will be announced. This is the 29th edition of weekly fuel price format for this year and 183rd in total since its introduction in 2019.
