Rivian appoints former Magna unit executive as chief operating officer



Rivian has appointed Frank Klein, a former executive at the Canadian auto parts unit Magna International, as its chief executive officer, at a time when the electric carmaker has already made Weakness in output forecast for 2022.

Last week, Rivian said supply chain issues could cut its planned output by 2022 to 25,000 vehicles.

Klein succeeds Rod Copes, who retired in December.
