The front of the e-208 now has the same design language as the update 508 liftback and wagon, as well as updates 2008. The front lighting signature consists of three long vertical “light claws”.

The rear of the e-208 has also been reworked to include a black stripe that houses the taillights with three horizontal “claws”.

At this stage, it is not clear which e-208 variant or what variants will be offered locally. The e-2008 electric crossover expected to arrive locally in late 2023 is offered in a single GT specification only.

Another thing that remains unclear is how much the Peugeot e-208 will cost locally. The Peugeot e-2008 will use the previous version of the e-208’s electric powertrain, priced at $59,900 excluding road costs.

However, the light electric vehicle segment has warmed up in the country with Grade 4, Dolphin BYD And GWM Ora All are now priced at entry-level form under $40,000 before hitting the road.
