Americans love EV discounts at the point of sale, and we all want to save money in the process. Can a faster rechargeable battery save raw materials? And Honda launched the new generation CR-V Hybrid, with the hope that it will become a sports car, leading in high mpg sales. This and more, here Green Car Report.

Honda has revealed the new generation of the Honda CR-V, as well as the new generation of the two-engine hybrid system. With a new configuration for the system and more engine torque — not to mention mpg — 2023 Honda CR-V Hybrid currently the sports car in the lineup, with expectations that it will account for half of CR-V sales.

We’ve known for a long time that Buyers prefer EV rebates at the point of sale over EV tax credits. But a recent study found that buyers like them so much more that they’ll receive a little less “concealed cash” — potentially saving the federal government and taxpayers. The study authors argue that it is also fairer.

And will Battery cells charge faster allowing for smaller battery packs, cut weight and reduce dependence on precious metals? That’s the premise behind several battery startups, Reuters recently highlighted. And while it could be the key to unlocking some cheaper electric cars for Americans, adopting some of this technology may not need to be either/or suggested.
