Red Dead Redemption 2 has been considered by many to be one of the most beautiful games of all time, at least when it comes to realism, and that beauty was officially recognized through photographic mode at the London Game Festival on last week. The Virtual Photography Challenge is sponsored and judged by Nvidia and The 4th Focus, and Official Screenshot of the Year by Joe Meizies. The festival organizers were kind enough to publicly share a Google Drive folder among all the best pictures, among which there are other games like Forbidden Horizon in the West, Gran Turismo, Ghost of Tsushima, Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, Cyberpunk 2077and more.

Photo mode has recently become a staple in the larger AAA games, and the bonus feature has expanded considerably in recent years, with all the new filters, settings, and effects you can play with, most of which I don’t know what they do.
