One sender asked if Bandai Namco plans to release a Digimon World redo or redo. Habu calls a remake “highly viable,” but notes that with a remake, adding new content could make it feel like a whole new game.
Here is Habu’s full statement about the possibility of remaking or remaking the original Digimon World.
We have received many requests to convert or remake the original Digimon World. I am actively reviewing it. But at the same time, I’m also thinking about which option – port remaster or remake – is better.

Digimon World there is a very good balance between File Island, the stage and the Digimon that appear. If we add a new field, such as Directory Continent or Digimon, I think we should treat it as a new product, rather than a remake.
Digimon World appeared on PlayStation worldwide. It has also arrived on PC in South Korea. The last entry in the series is Digimon World: Next Orderappeared on Vita in Japan and PS4 worldwide.
