I can guarantee that.”
Brown was only 2 years old when the first Screaming the movie hit theaters in 1996. In fact, it wasn’t until after taking the job that she saw the film for the first time. “I think I’m auditioning for Horror film, which I have also never seen,” she said. “I don’t know what is going on. I’m just happy to have an audition and then happy to have a job. And then I got there, and we started having all these meetings, and I started watching movies, doing research and saying, ‘Oh, I just got into a really big deal. Cool, cool, cool. ‘ I’m glad I didn’t know that before, otherwise I wouldn’t have been so chilled down my spine.”
There’s a certain amount of pressure that comes with delivering such an iconic series so many years later, but the response to the new film has so far been overwhelmingly positive, especially for the staff.
