flagship Range Rover loses the P400 petrol powertrain in 2024, but has a new plug-in hybrid option, a more powerful top-of-the-line SV and a new SV Bespoke custom service.
Full pricing and specs for the 2024 model haven’t been announced yet, but the scope for tweaks opens up again at $250,350 before on-road costs give HSE D350. It’s available to order now, before shipping to first customers in November-December.
In 2024, the Range Rover lineup is equipped with JLR’s latest generation Pivi Pro infotainment system with a 13.1-inch touchscreen and new sidebars for improved usability.
Range Rover’s Terrain Response system also gains terrain-adaptive cruise control with four different settings and National Road Assist technology, which uses navigation data to adjust speed. set to account for road bends and speed limit changes.
Dynamic Response Pro coil control technology is also included in this model, using actuators capable of delivering up to 1400Nm of torque to each axle.
a new one P460e . plug-in hybrid powertrain joins the Australian range, featuring a 3.0 liter inline six-cylinder petrol engine paired with a 160 kW electric motor for a total system power of 338kW.

Range Rover SV
Land Rover Australia didn’t mention the new P550e being offered in other markets, although it says the long-wheelbase body will now be available with a plug-in hybrid powertrain.
The twin-turbo 4.4-liter V8 in the upgraded flagship SV also gets a mild hybrid system, making 452 kW of power and 750 Nm of torque.
For context, the 4.4-litre twin-turbo P530 available from launch produces 390kW and 750Nm.
The mild-hybrid system is said to improve stop/start smoothness and reduce CO2 emissions, capture energy during braking and improve responsiveness during acceleration.
The new SV Bespoke service is only available on Autobiography and SV models, and allows buyers to choose from up to 391 interior and 230 exterior colors in the SV Bespoke palette.
There is also a Match to Pattern service for exterior colors, as well as unique details and embroidery available – you can even finish the badge in 24ct gold.
