Quartz updates policy regarding PR relationships
Financial news site Quartz has updated its policy on how its journalists work with public relations professionals, stating that it will not accept information on the background without recognition.

The move follows a similar decision a month ago by The Verge that it would also not accept information from PR professionals on the background without recognition.
“There are times when background conversations are completely appropriate. But they’re not on the platform unless we’ve agreed to that first,” Landy said on Twitter on Friday.
