Sony hasn’t finished giving some of its recent releases an addition to the PlayStation 5 era. Rumors are reported in the MP1st and endorsed by VGC and Gematsu hints that Guerrilla Games is working on a remake or remake of 2017 Horizon: No dawn. Originally a PS4 exclusive, the game launched on PC in August 2020.
Targeting for PS5, Horizon: Zero Dawn remaster (or remake) will upgrade the graphics further, to match Horizon: Forbidden West, released in February 2022 for PS4 and PS5. In addition, the accessibility options and other improvements applied to the sequel, as well as the graphics and performance settings, will be part of the project.
