New trailer for Dead cells‘The next DLC The Queen And The Sea features a shark that is swung like a sword and launched like an arrow. It was almost enough to trick me into thinking I should play it, when deep down I knew I wasn’t good enough to get anywhere with it. For those of you more skilled than me, the trailer comes with the news that the DLC is coming out on January 6th.
The first DLC is set in “Infected Shipwreck”, and then in “Lighthouse”. The latter is an upward race in which you are chased and attacked by three angry guardians, and then at the top there is a boss fight. Along with the shark, there are eight other new weapons, including more marine-themed weapons like the trident and the pirate hook.
Motion Twin says that Queen And The Sea concludes a DLC trilogy, with The Bad Seed and Fatal Falls. If you complete this DLC, you will have a new ending to the game.
I’m not going to beat this DLC or, really, the original game. I love Dead Cells bit by bit for its pacing and combat feel, but its initial out-of-the-box journey stripped me of my cheese strategy one by one until all I was left with was skill. his rudimentary. Disclosure: my raw skill is an empty cup with mold growing on the bottom. I know they recently added “Aspects”, a feature that allows you to make the game easier, but it was probably too late for me.
