Tens of thousands of Israelis marched again in nationwide protests against the government’s plan to limit the power of the Supreme Court.
This is the 11th week of mass protests, as reform opponents accuse right-wing Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu of undermining judicial independence.
Mr. Netanyahu, who is on trial on corruption charges, said his aim was to restore the balance of power between the government and Israel’s supreme court.
The escalating protests have hit the economy and prompted some reservists to threaten to defy the call to enlist.
