Primal Health Coach Institute is 7 years old, and she is growing up faster than one of my two children. We’ve evolved the curriculum, added more tools and resources, and launched a number of new courses for current and aspiring health coaches and professionals.

I dedicate today’s blog post to the latest development of PHCI as it is transforming my mission in the best way. With the joint efforts of Mark’s Daily Apple and our global community of Primal Health Coaches, we are not far from reaching our goal of helping 10 million people take control of their health. And with all the success that the broader primitive movement has had over the past two decades, perhaps we should once again add another zero to the goal.

I think Primal Health Coach Institute’s the latest training programs focused on fitness will take us there.

You’re probably already familiar with our top-notch health coaching program. It’s a comprehensive certification program that includes health and wellness education, coaching skills training, and business development. We have certified thousands of Primal Health Coaches and they are making an impact in 75 countries around the world.

And now, we’re going to do the same with fitness trainers. Because, after several years of development, we are ready to launch Primal Fitness Trainer Certification Program.

What is Primal Fitness?

Before diving into the specifics of the course, I think it’s important to clarify what we mean by stub gymnastics and what makes it different from other fitness philosophies.

During my years as a professional athlete and coach for athletes, I have seen a common theme and talked about it often — the tendency to push ourselves and each other beyond our limits. us to the point that we fired fitness training and led to injury, burnout, and illness.

For people who just want to get in shape, it’s hard to find a balanced exercise method that can last a lifetime. Moving more becomes stressful when it should be fun, and it’s hard to achieve a physical effect.

That’s where early gymnastics redefined the traditional paradigm. It’s a fitness philosophy that goes back to the basics, adopting a playful approach to movement and focusing on functional fitness that blends seamlessly with healthy living.

If you’re a regular reader, you’ve probably caught up with the 10 Basic Laws of Blueprint and know I’m an advocate of moving around at a comfortable pace, occasionally sprinting, Lift heavy objects and play. You may have watched our video on how to do the Primordial Movements properly. But that’s just the tip of the iceberg.

Over the past two years, I have worked closely with PHCI staff and instructors, as well as other professionals with decades of experience as a personal trainer and physical educator, to rounded up the original health so that it now addresses all areas of movement, exercise and fitness in a holistic manner. It was the culmination of my life experience in the field, and it included everything I knew about fitness and exercise.

I would also like to thank Brad Kearns, who was instrumental in the development of this program. For those of you who haven’t met him yet, Brad is my co-author of our bestsellers: Primordial Endurance and Keto Reset Diet. Brad also has a background as a professional triathlete (I coached him in the ’80s and ’90s when he competed around the world), most recently a sprinter Guinness World Records, and ranked 1st age US Masters in 2020 and 2022. 55-59 high jump athletes. Together, we ensure the Primal Fitness Trainer Certification Program reflects the latest research in exercise and fitness science while honoring what we know about how our primitive ancestors how to move and live.
