Price and specifications of GWM Haval H6 2024
GWM is offering sharper driving prices across Haval H6 mid-size SUV line.
The Chinese brand is offering savings of $1,000 to $2,000 on products until June 30, 2024.
Gasoline models see the biggest savings, with the price of the Lux Hybrid reduced by $1500 and the top Ultra Hybrid model reduced by $1000.
The specifications of the Haval H6 remain unchanged, in particular a next generation model expected in late 2024 or early 2025. That’s despite the current model only launching in Australia in 2021.
In the first quarter of 2024, GWM sold 2203 Haval H6s and 888 H6 GT coupe SUVs in Australia, up 6.9% and 2.0% over the same period in 2023.
Even excluding the related Haval H6 GT, the Haval H6 still sells better Honda CR-V (1920 sales) and Volkswagen Tiguan (sales 1215), although still lower in comparison Subaru Forester (sales 3583) and Hyundai Tucson (4685) as well as more popular Japanese and Korean models.

Drive system
The 2024 GWM Haval H6 is available with two powertrains to choose from.
Gasoline models use one 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine manufacture 150kW power and 320Nm of torque.
This is available with front-wheel drive or only in the Ultra trim, with all-wheel drive. The only transmission is a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic.
Hybrid models feature 1.5 liter four-cylinder engine with 110kW and 230Nm, combined with a 130kW/300Nm electric motor and GWM’s dedicated Hybrid Transmission, for a total system output of 179kW And 530Nm.
They are only available with front-wheel drive.
Effective
GWM Haval H6 2024 used 7.4L/100km on the combined cycle in front-wheel drive gasoline form, 8.3L/100km with all-wheel drive, and 5.2L/100km like a hybrid.
All models run on 91 RON regular unleaded fuel. All models have a 61L fuel tank, except the Ultra AWD which has a 60L fuel tank.
Size
GWM Haval H6 2024 is 4653mm long, 1886mm wide and 1724mm tall on a wheelbase of 2738mm.
Curb weight ranges from 1550kg in the Premium petrol version to 1690kg in the Ultra Hybrid version.
GWM Haval H6 has a trunk capacity of 600L, expanding to 1485L when folding the rear seats.
Gasoline models get a space-saving spare, while hybrid models only get a tire repair kit under the boot floor.
Braked towing capacity is 1500kg for hybrid models and 2000kg for petrol models, with an unbraked towing capacity of 750kg across the range.
Service and warranty
The GWM Haval H6 is backed by a seven-year, unlimited kilometer vehicle warranty, with the battery pack of hybrid models covered by an eight-year, unlimited kilometer warranty.
Servicing is required every 12 months or 15,000km and GWM offers five years of servicing at a capped price.
