Frank Sanchez will feature against Luis Ortiz-Charles Martin tonight against fellow heavyweight Christian Hammer in a scheduled 10th round tie. Sanchez 19-0 was last seen in action in October when he bested Efe Ajagba through unanimous decision. As for the Hammers, the German 26-8-0 – with Romania – last appeared in October when he was led by Tommy Fury in five fights.
Jonathan Rice, 14-6-1, is also set for a ten-round heavyweight bout on Saturday. His opponent will be Michael Coffie 12-1. Rice’s last game was in July when he fought – wait – Coffie, who he stopped at 10. With that in mind, the rematch will be interesting.
Veteran Gerald Washington will also appear on Saturday, when he puts his 20-4-1 record ahead of heavyweight teammate Ali Demirezen 14-1 in a scheduled 10th round competition. Washington last saw action in early 2020 when Charles Martin stopped him at 6. As for Demirezen, the German – i.e. Turkish – boxer was last seen in March stopping him. Nikola Milacic in 2 games.
