Perhaps the most anticipated match of the year will take place tonight at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas as Canelo Alvarez defends his undisputed super-middleweight world championship against Gennady Golovkin in the match. third between the two. The famous Gabriel Rosado will also be on the card tonight as the 26-15-1 fighter faces Ali Akhmedov 18-1 in a scheduled 10-round middleweight bout. Rosado last saw action back in April when he gave up majority decision-making to Shane Mosley Jr. A tough match against Akhmedov, who analysts say should win this one, came last in December when he knocked out Paul Cuesta in the first round.
Finally, the undefeated, rising and up-and-coming middleweight competitor Austin Williams will take on Kieron Conway 18-2-1 in a scheduled 10th round match. William last got into action back in April, when he knocked out Chordale Booker in the first round. The last time Conway was spotted stopping the Gregry Trenel of the year was just last month. Williams, who has nine kills on his eleven-game resume, is expected to take the point, but the slippery Conway could make it interesting.
