President Joe Biden is in Delaware enjoying some weekend fun in the sun! He left the White House this week and stopped by Rehoboth Beach with his wife, First Lady Jill Bidenand niece Naomi accompanied, according to Getty Images.

President Joe Biden enjoys the Saturdaze in Delaware
Looking like a civilian, the US leader lounged on a chair on the sand under blue umbrellas. His beach attire included bright blue anchor-print shorts, a white polo shirt and dark sunglasses. At one point, as he relaxed on the sand, President Joe removed his dark baseball cap.
Photos of the beach outing showed other small groups of people enjoying the sun under umbrellas at Rehoboth Beach, but it was unclear whether those additional groups were accompanied by President Biden, Delawareans or beachgoers from the suburbs.
One thing is clear, however: Biden and his family were not alone on the beach outing. Photos also show at least two police officers standing a few feet away from the laid-back politician, ready to deal with any potential trouble.
When did the President arrive in Delaware?
Biden arrived at the state’s Air National Guard Base near New Castle on August 8 on Air Force One, according to Delaware Online. That same day, he boarded the presidential plane and landed in Dover, Delaware. Biden reportedly owns a home near Rehoboth Beach, hence the Saturday trip.
Additionally, on August 10, the president visited a church in Rehoboth Beach.
While President Joe was relaxing in Rehoboth Beach on Saturday, his Vice President Kamala Harris was just holding a rally in the Southwest. Harris and her newly announced running mate, Tim Walz, visited Arizona on Friday night, speaking to hundreds of people about her plans for the White House.

Meanwhile, also on Saturday, the New York Times broke the news when it reported that an insider reporter alleged that Donald Trump has been in turmoil since Biden dropped out of the race on July 21 and then endorsed Harris.
Speaking to more than a dozen anonymous sources, the newspaper revealed that Donald allegedly called Harris a “whore” in private at least twice.
