When the property owner discovered Boxer Java in a recently vacated rental property, she was heavily pregnant and in dire condition. The family had previously been unhelpful when contacted about the dog. Due to Java suffering from starvation, dehydration and illness, the property owner contacted a nearby rescue force for assistance.

Java tried to join the rescue, however, it was already running at full capacity and there was no room left for her. Later, at the vet’s office, it became apparent that Java was pregnant with puppies. However, due to stress, she was unable to give birth at that time.
When ailing Java desperately begged for a miracle, a woman named Karen from “Lost Pet Found” heard about her. With the help of her connections, Karen helped Java find accommodation at the Nob Hill Animal Clinic in Plantation at midnight!

After seeing the roof over her head and the caregivers around, Java finally felt safe. Just a few hours later, she gave birth to a litter of 9 puppies! At the end of the day, the mother and her puppies were moved into the care of “Florida Boxer Rescue”.

Java suffers from many infections, intestinal parasites and fleas due to its abandonment by its former owner. She was being treated for these for the next few months. Even so, she still lovingly raises her puppies and they all get adopted into wonderful homes when they’re old enough. Java, along with her children, was adopted by a loving family and is now enjoying her best life!
