Porsha Williams claims she’s not leaving to avoid backlash
During a sit-down with PEOPLE, Porsha admitted that — while she’s happy to be back on television — there are definitely some parts that will “make you a little bit uncomfortable!”

“I am not running away. And I don’t think any of the followers who actually knew me would believe that I would run away from the show because of it.
Porsha Reveals She Left To ‘Reassess’ How She Moves
After making it clear that she “didn’t run away” from the naysayers, she doubled down by stating that she “faced a lot of harsh things on the show” and always showed up to confront her. face the music.
“I dealt with a lot of harsh things on the show,” Williams recalls to PEOPLE. “And I was there at the beginning of each season filming, with the camera on. So no, this has nothing to do with that.

As for the reasons behind her departure, Porsha explained that — as she nears her 10th anniversary on the hit series Bravo — she “just needs to reevaluate” what she wants.
“I’ve turned 40, I’m marking 10 years on the show, and I’m really having to reassess where I am and what I absolutely want out of my life. So that’s where that decision comes from.
Then she ended by noting that being on RHUGT “like a fresh start.”
