Think of the bigger real-life chestnut bomb, who became the first person to win the Triple Crown in 1973 in 25 years. This audio podcast is a companion to the BloodHorse Daily Secretariat’s 50th anniversary celebration. This 12-part series was originally released in 2013, on its 40th anniversary. It corresponds to each of Big Red’s races at the age of 3, based on the observations and memories of Secretariat driver, Ron Turcotte, and owner Penny (Tweedy) Chenery.
