PlayStation spotlight seven rad indies is making its way to PS4, PS5
Sony pays attention to some ports and projects
While big-name games may dominate the discussion, there are still some intriguing indie projects in the works for the coming months. PlayStation today introduced seven indie games that will be available on PlayStation 4 and PS5 in the future.
All of these games were previously announced or previously released on other platforms. That said, it’s a really great collection of rad games worth keeping an eye on, especially if some of the games have overlooked you.
Sea of stars
First is Sea of starsClassic RPG from Sabotage Studio, created Messenger. It was recently delayed to 2023, but today Sabotage shows some gameplay and mechanics. Actions can create combos, and attacks over time can increase your damage and decrease incoming hits.
Cult of the Lamb
Adorable hit action and simulator game Cult of the Lamb only one feature about some of its farming and facility management. Which, uh, includes poop. There’s really no way to sugarcoat that one. Cult of the Lamb is set for August 11.
Signalis
Classic sci-fi survival horror game Signalis showed off the world and its haunting atmosphere. It remains one of my most anticipated publications of the year; classic Resident Evil the setup just connects very well to the CRT monitor and the dark world. Signalis arrived on October 27.
SCHiM
SCHiM got attention this year Devs’ presentation day, and for good reason. It’s a neat exploration game about diving and jumping between the shadows. Meanwhile looks great in stills, it gets even cooler in motion. Be sure to check Summary and keep an eye on SCHiM in the next year.
The Tomorrow Children: Phoenix Edition
Q-Games recently re-requested Tomorrow’s Children and revealed plans to reboot it as Phoenix version. Today, Q-Games confirm that the phoenix will rise on September 6 and it showed off Monoliths, a new mechanic for this release.

Cursed for Golf
Sports Roguelite Cursed for Golf put a interesting rotation play golf. Really, any situation where you need to golf to get out of purgatory will be interesting. But the afterlife of golf came very soon, it turned out. Cursed for Golf chip its way onto PS4 and PS4 (as well as Xbox and Switch consoles) on August 18.

Encode
Ending the day’s revelations is an old thing but a good thing. Encodefrom Daniel Mullins Games, made big splash on PC last year. It’s coming to PlayStation now, with some PlayStation Exclusive Features pulling. Stoat will talk through the controller and light will also come from the controller. Seems pretty creepy, especially if haptics are involved as well. No date yet, but Encode bound for PS4 and Ps5.
