FLEX: TE Rob Gronkowski, Buccaneers ($13,000)
Gronk is Brady’s most reliable target, especially in a match where Jalen Ramsey in the worldwide corner is expected to be regularly locked in with Mike Evans. Gronk offers a solid MVP pick, but we’re giving him a chance in case he doesn’t catch TD.
FLEX: RB Cam Akers, Rams ($11,000)
Akers led the Rams in rushing efforts last week, but we expect him to remain lightly possessed because of Tampa’s dominant defence. We’re fine with picking contrarian because of Akers’ involvement in the pick up game and potentially LA trying to force its running game early. Akers is as “fresh” as anyone in the knockout stages, so if he can break a big run or two, he’ll pay the price for this pick.
FLEX: K Ryan Succop, Buccaneers ($9,000)
Even if the Rams get some defensive success against Tampa, they won’t be able to completely stop its offensive behavior. Succop will see a lot of FG tries unless Brady has a big game (which would also be great for us), so we’ll take our chances with his “safe” floor at a premium. reasonable price.
