Theresa adopted Skyla from the shelter when she was two years old. Theresa has wanted a Pit Bull for a long time. Before adopting Skyla, she showed pictures of the Pitties to her mother, who then asked Theresa, “Why would you want to adopt those creepy dogs?” Theresa knows better. She understands that Pit Bulls have a bad reputation and are often misunderstood.
Skyla loves her family, and they love her very much too. She lives a good life for sure! She especially enjoys going on adventures with Theresa and Theresa’s partner Andy. However, Skyla has times when she’s a bit down. She tries to show what she wants, and they don’t know what she’s saying. Maybe it’s because she tries to speak like a human, but no words really come out.
Skyla is such a nice girl that she turned Theresa’s mother into Pit Bull’s lover! She even adopted her own Pittie! Skyla is now 15 years old. She walks slower and has trouble getting up and down stairs, but age doesn’t dictate her. Instead, she is a happy girl and devoted to her family.
