Emily and Garrett were quite surprised one afternoon when they walked up to their truck and flung open the front door. A Pit Bull seemingly out of nowhere appeared and jumped inside. Pittie, later named Buddy, then refused to leave!
Buddy went from the front seat to the back seat and lay down. The couple tried to convince him to go out so he could return home, but to no avail. Not even roast beef! Buddy refused to eat but drank a lot of water. No matter how hard the couple tried to convince Buddy to leave, Buddy didn’t budge. And this went on for hours!
At this point, the couple realized the air conditioning from the truck and the water was what had kept him here. He was both dehydrated and overheated. They put a wet blanket over the dog to help it cool down faster. They couldn’t leave the puppy outside, so they brought it into their home.
