Knoxville, Tenn. – On Wednesday, PETA supporters joined by monumental, can’t-be-missed alpaca, sheep, and goose puppets will trigger mayhem outdoors the City Outfitters retailer on Market Road and loudly demand that City Outfitters and its different manufacturers—together with Anthropologie and Free Individuals—go away alpaca fleece, wool, leather-based, down, mohair, and cashmere on their unique house owners.
When: Wednesday, October 27, 12 midday
The place: City Outfitters, 503 Market St., Knoxville
“City Outfitters shops are graveyards for animals who had been crushed, reduce up, and killed,” says PETA Government Vice President Tracy Reiman. “PETA is looking on City Outfitters’ manufacturers to honor the corporate’s shopper pledge of sustainability and ethics by promoting solely vegan supplies—which might be simple to do, as a result of they already inventory them.”
PETA—whose motto reads, partly, that “animals should not ours to put on”—opposes speciesism, a human-supremacist worldview.
