PAS Terengganu promises interest-free bicycle loans

As part of its state election manifesto, Parti Islam Se-Malaysia or PAS wants to offer interest-free motorcycle loans.

This was said by Party Vice Chairman Ahmad Samsuri Mokhtar during a rally in Kuala Terengganu ahead of the State Elections scheduled for August 12, reports Sinar Harian.

The zero-interest motorbike loan is one of 10 campaign promises PAS will make if PAS continues to perform its five-year mandate in running the East Coast state.

Ahmad Samsuri said: “During the previous 14th General Election in Malaysia, the PAS fulfilled all its 20 election promises while the others were still going on.

According to Ahmad Samsuri, other electoral promises from the Muslim party include the construction of mosques in the town with economic, sports, entertainment, educational, community, health and social facilities and Welfare.

Other campaign promises were to support agriculture, livestock and fisheries in the amount of RM5 million, to set up Islamic law research centers, or tafaqquh fiddinand RM100 million to turn Terengganu into a source of food production for the country.
