Our first look at the Halo TV series is actually pretty good

Here he is! John Halo on the phone! That’s right, in time Game Award we got our first look at Halo The TV series will premiere next year. The trailer shows the Sheriff walking slowly towards a large tower. There is a classic dunn of the piano and a cool space mushroom city. Plus lots of close-ups of human faces. Honestly, it looks pretty good.

While we don’t have an official release date yet, the Halo TV series is coming to Paramount+ next year. This is after nearly eight years of development, with The word about its existence first appeared in 2018, so I can’t help but consider its appearance as a small miracle.

In the trailer, it appears that Dr. Halsey (Natascha McElhone) narrates the issues, alluding to John Halo (Pablo Schreiber) as the space savior we know and love, with lines like “we are” lost in the dark” as an adult “But you give people hope” in a unique way. We also see a lot of enlarged photos of faces, including those of Soren-066 (Bokeem Woodbine) and several other unnamed people. Cortana (Jen Taylor) isn’t here, but we’ll probably see her in a future trailer that looks all blue and holographic. Elsewhere, a lot of UNSC soldiers took up rifles and ran forward.

While it’s difficult to tell where the story will go, the series looks set to document the beginnings of a war between humanity and the evil alien Covenant. Halo was originally set at the end of this conflict, so it will be interesting to see how things begin.

Overall, I’m happy to see more, which can only be a good thing. It really feels like a rebirth for Halo, what with Infinite was fun and now Chief is about to hit the screen. Don’t forget that Halo themed Swarovski crystal helmets too. Cor, we fans are definitely being catered for.
