Spellbinding adventure is set to return

Grab your magic wand and your cute Victorian boots, guys. Nippon Ichi Software has announced that the classic PS2 strategy title GrimGrimoire is being repaired. Currently under development at Vanillaware, product has an interesting title GrimGrimoire OnceMore will launch in Japan this summer on PS4 and Nintendo Switch.
As revealed in the latest issue of Weekly Famitsu, GrimGrimoire OnceMore will see the clumsy-trained witch Lillet Blan attempt to rescue her school, The Tower of Silver Star, from a nasty time loop, triggered by a nefarious witch looking for the Philosopher’s Stone. Water. A 2D real-time strategy adventure, the player takes control of Lillet as she controls an army of mystical familiars, battling the dark forces of the evil witch herself.

GrimGrimoire Written and directed by George Kamitani’s Dragon’s Reward reputation, and features the instantly recognizable art style of Kouichi Maenou. Unfortunately, despite receiving rave reviews from critics and fans, and even being lucky enough to receive a western locale, GrimGrimoire was something of a revenue failure, quickly terminating plans for an expanded franchise.
The new remake promises higher resolutions, widescreen visuals, new magic mechanics and skill tree options, rebalanced difficulty options, an overhauled save system, and a new version of the game. newly recorded music, as well as Maenou’s beautiful collection of artworks. With this sparkling remaster, maybe GrimGrimoire will find satisfaction and success in 2022 has surpassed it in 2007. While localization in the West has not been announced, NIS has shown a lot of commitment in bringing the recent release. to these shores, so an international version seems inevitable.
