The ON1 Photo RAW App will receive major updates in June, including full integration of ON1 Resize AI, the company’s next-generation neural network-based image upscaling engine announced in March. 2022.5 also includes enhanced NoNoise AI, improved Sky Swap AI, better lens correction, and support for the latest cameras, such as Nikon Z9the OM System OM-1the Canon EOS R5 COLORand Panasonic GH6.
According to ON1, “Photo RAW gives photographers ultimate image quality with state-of-the-art raw engine, superior noise reduction with NoNoise AI, incredible filters and presets in Effects, tools automatic portrait retoucher and currently the best photo magnifier software, ON1 AI Resize, fully integrated. ”
The app will be able to adjust and synchronize settings across multiple open photos, batch upgrade, and export them to a single destination. The NoNoise AI engine will give “much improved” results with non-RAW images (i.e. JPEG, TIFF), while the Sky Swap AI promises better masking, especially when there are trees and when voting the sky is white. Lens correction will also be improved — thanks to ON1’s new LensMatch engine, which automatically detects and eliminates distortion when shooting RAW.
Coming up in June, Version 2022.5 will be a free update for all owners of ON1 Photo RAW 2022. The software is available with a perpetual license for $100 or a subscription for $8. /month or $90/year.
