Queen Gen Z OliviaRodrigo just do the unthinkable and wear skinny jeans. (I apologize for the exaggeration.) It’s not something we often see our favorite musician Y2K wear. But it’s rumored that skinny jeans will return with vengeance in 2023, so maybe she’s off to a good start.
The outfit I’m referring to is the one that Rodrigo wore while out in NYC this week. She paired the aforementioned pair of skinny jeans with a striped gray cardigan and her Converse Chuck Taylor boots. What takes the outfit from cool to chic is the addition of a leather jacket, a trend that’s been in vogue for several seasons now. Having polite basics that go well with everything (such as a leather jacket) is important because you can wear them with simple, casual pieces and look as if you’ve put in the effort. time.
