Oklahoma country singer Jake Flint dies hours after marriage: NPR
Country singer Jake Flint died on Sunday, hours after getting married, according to Oklahoma people.
Flint married his wife Brenda on Saturday and by Sunday morning he was dead in his sleep. He was 37.
Brenda Flint said: ‘We were supposed to go through the wedding photos but instead I had to choose the clothes to bury my husband in. wrote on Facebook.
Cause of death has not been determined.
Flint, a native of Holdenville, Oklahoma, began composing at an early age after his father gave him guitar lessons shortly after being diagnosed with Lou Gherig’s disease. He has released two albums, I disagree in 2016 and Jlike Flint in 2020.
Brenda Cline, his manager, said she “loves him like a son.”
“The funniest, funniest, hardest-working, most dedicated artist I’ve worked with in my career,” she said on Facebook.
