Ocala Breeders’ Sales released March 21 a catalog for Selling 2-year-olds in Spring Training, which includes 1,231 juveniles participating in a 4-day sale from 19 to 22 months 4. All sessions will begin at 10:30 a.m. ET.
Two of the standout graduates of this sale include the undefeated champion of Speedway Stables Corniche who was honored with the Eclipse Award as a 2-year-old male champion in 2021; and, 1st grade winner of Robert and Lawana Low Colonel Liam who scored consecutive goals in the Pegasus World Cup Turf Invitational Stakes (G1) January 29.
Corniche, son of Quality Sugar won his first career win at Del Mar and followed by victories in the American Pharoah Stakes (G1) and TVG Breeders’ Cup Juvenile presented by the Thoroughbred Aftercare Alliance (G1). Triple for trainer Bob Baffert, Corniche made $1,262,000 at 2. The foal was consigned by De Meric Sales as an agent for the OBS Spring Sale in 2021, where he hit a 1/8th rate. in: 10 apartments in the underground show and were purchased with a blood bag of agent Marette Farrell with a top selling price of $1.5 million.
Colonel Liam, son of Map of Liam , has won seven of his 10 career starts for coach Todd Pletcher and has earned $1,810,565 to date. Now 5 years old, Colonel Liam brought in $1.2 million at the 2019 Spring Sale, where he was consigned by Wavertree Stables and purchased by breed dealer Jacob West on behalf of the Lows. He worked a quarter mile at: 20 4/5 before the sale period.

Also available on the OBS website is an online catalog with a sortable master index that provides searchable genealogy and shipper information as well as access to occurring genealogy updates. since the catalog is printed and links to the videos below, walking videos and profile photos.
The iPad version of the catalog can be accessed through the Equineline Sales Catalog app. The app allows users to download and view catalogs, receive updates and results, take notes, and provides innovative search, sort, and review capabilities.

- Hip No. 617 – 924 will go on sale on Thursday, April 21
