NYRA Plans Breakfast and Ranch Tour in Saratoga


New York Racing Association, Inc. (NYRA) today announced plans for its first Livestock Farm and Breakfast package in Racecourse Saratoga. The Saratoga Livestock and Breakfast Tour, introduced by the Metropolitan District Transportation Authority (CDTA), will be held every Friday, starting July 15, and has a capacity Up to 40 guests.

The all-inclusive fan experience package features:

* Breakfast buffet at Saratoga Racecourse
* A chance to watch world-class thoroughbreds during morning training
* Round trip outdoor trolley ride from Saratoga Racecourse to Old Tavern
* A 90-minute guided walking tour of a working thoroughbred ranch
* Entrance to Saratoga Race Course

The Saratoga Ranch and Breakfast Package costs $55 for adults and $25 for children 12 and under. Tickets are available on a first-come, first-served basis for each tour every Friday, starting July 15. Tickets can be purchased at NYRA.com.

The package begins with Breakfast at Saratoga, which includes a breakfast buffet at Saratoga Racecourse from 7am to 9:30am against a backdrop of world-class thoroughbreds taking part in morning training. Guests can come at any time for breakfast during these hours.

After finishing breakfast at 9:30 a.m., fans will board an outdoor cart, provided by the CDTA, at the clubhouse entrance and begin a 15-minute ride along picturesque Lake Saratoga Draw to the Old Tavern Ranch for a 90-minute experience and educational hike to one of the area’s top ranches. Fans will return to Saratoga Racecourse at around 11:45am, ahead of post time to start the race around 1pm

Founded in 2016 by Walt and Michelle Borisenok, Old Tavern Farm is a private boutique thoroughbred establishment in Saratoga Springs, NY. Located just minutes from the historic Saratoga Racecourse, Old Tavern Farm has been in development. into a state-of-the-art facility focused on breeding and selling purebreds to compete at the highest levels of the sport. The name Old Tavern is derived from the 19th century tavern that once made the property.
