The CEO of Orange Genie Agency, Adam Miller, set himself a challenge and realized his dream – to perform as Elvis!
United Kingdom, December 12, 2022 Orange Genie Agency CEO Adam Miller set himself a challenge during the lockdown – becoming Aylesbury’s newest Elvis impersonator – and now he’s fulfilled that dream.
At the age of 23, Adam became a father and new priorities put his dream on hold, but he never gave it up. Orange Genie has supported their staff and employees throughout the Covid 19 crisis and this allowed Adam to invest in sound, costumes and lighting systems.
Adam caught Elvis’s fault as a teenager when he stumbled across the 1970 documentary, Elvis: That’s the Way It Is, and was moved by the singer’s movements. His desire to perform like Elvis took shape when he wowed audiences at karaoke nights in his early 20s.
“At the time I didn’t think I was great or anything special, but people seemed to like it. I sang, Suspicious Minds, but what I did was also the movements, the hand gestures and the dance.
“Because of the good response, I kept doing it. An old couple told me that they often go to the pub because they like to watch me perform. After I finished performing, they left again.”
In the midst of a nationwide lockdown in the summer of 2020, Adam began his journey, performing for free in nursing homes across Aylesbury Vale. This is important to him, partly because his Elvis journey is a work of love, but also to ease his nerves. His performance has clearly gone down as well, as every nursing home he shows up to asks him to return.

As the festive season gets underway, Adam is looking forward to continuing his Elvis journey. Wedding performances are planned for the future and Adam’s ultimate goal is to tour the UK, spreading happiness and Elvis fever everywhere.
Adam said, “If you have a dream this Christmas, go for it. No one else will do it for you. I know I have to do this now, or I’ll always regret not trying.”
