Matilda was dragged through the streets, her body covered with terrible wounds. Those who encountered her believed that she was the result of a dogfight. But because she was branded as “Pit Bull”, people were afraid to support her. She stayed on the streets, walking aimlessly in search of food.

However, Matilda was not a warrior. Her wound wasn’t from a battlefield injury. She had leishmaniasis, which damaged her skin.

Matilda was eventually treated by a rescue organization that recognized the limitations of her breed. The doctor began to treat Matilda’s painful illness. Despite being a Pit Bull, despite living on the streets and being rejected by many, Matilda is the best, sweetest, and cutest dog imaginable.
She has no grudge against others. She wants their touch and affection more than anything else in the world.

During her treatment, a dog trainer on the rescue team decided to adopt Matilda. She really started flirting at his house. His other rescue dogs have made great friends with her. She spent many hours playing with her new flock and cuddling with them. She was finally accepted, giving her a new contract of life.
