Simply Nurture: Fisherman’s Finest. I use it because the only other option for Lucy is the Royal Kanin Ultamino prescription. She is allergic to all meat proteins, except fish, rabbit and duck. She is also allergic to potatoes and many grains. This mix is the only dog food I could find that doesn’t have any of the ingredients that Lucy is allergic to.

It took me a while to find the right balance but now I cook the following for my little boy Frankie Breakfast: cooked turkey Dinner: cooked white fish (basa fillet) and broccoli green. He has no grain, and his dish is a Dried Beef. He also takes a probiotic supplement to treat his gut condition and help fight yeast overload. Happy, healthy 5-year-old boy after 2-3 years of searching for answers.

Homemade foods, ground beef or chicken with a mix of dehydrated vegetables, and snacks without grains or seasonal fruits like apples, bananas, watermelons are favorites. Also has plain Greek yogurt and frozen chickpeas. I’ve been doing this for over 10 years… too much preservatives in common foods.

My dog is 12 years old. It was allergic for many years. We fed her duck and beans until they stopped doing it. Now she has a pancreatic disorder so the vet gave her food Purina Pro Plan EN. She doesn’t have anything else. Veterinarians say some puppies are allergic to potatoes in their food.
