During a segment on Chicago radio station WSCR-AM on Friday, Arkush revealed his thoughts on Rodgers, saying he considers his off-field character beyond his on-field performance during the season. This award involves voting for the MVP. He called Rodgers an “idiot” and compared his season to others in the race such as Colts running back Jonathan Taylor, the Rams’ Cooper Kupp and Buccaneers quarterback Tom Brady.
Rodgers has been in the news throughout the 2021 NFL season, not only because of his departure from the Packers and uncertain future in Green Bay, but also because he misled reporters when discussing his vaccination status at the beginning of the year. When Rodgers contracted COVID, he criticized his critics for making misleading comments about the COVID vaccine.

“I don’t think you can be the biggest jerk in the league and punish your team, your organization and your fan base the way he did and be the Most Valuable Player. ,” Arkush said. “Is he the most valuable on the pitch? Arkush is one of 50 voters who will vote to decide who will receive the NFL’s MVP award. While voters were not revealed who they would be voting for, Arkush admitted why he did not vote for Rodgers:
