NFL, College Soccer Odds: Cowboys-Giants, Michigan-Ohio State Insights

If you’re looking for something to be grateful for this week, you’ve got this: Get your bets a day early on NFL Week 12 odds and college football Week 13 odds. That’s right, the Thanksgiving holiday has come to an end, and you, loyal reader, are the beneficiaries.

And while MichiganOhio State very big this week, we have to start with a three-match football party on Turkey Day.

Specifically, let’s open with the mid-match in this Thanksgiving sandwich, supposedly match of the week, as the dalas cowboy organization New York Giants. That’s on FOX, by the way, starting at 4:30 p.m. ET.

Favorites and Overs

Dallas looks great in Week 11, blow up Minnesota 40-3 with the Cowboys 2.5-point line favorites. So the Pokes are currently 7-3 straight (SU) and vice versa (ATS). That should pay some bills if you’re betting on the Cowboys.

The Giants surprised many people by starting with 6-1 SU and ATS, but then they beat 2/3 to also stand at 7-3 SU and ATS. Last weekend, New York closed as the home team 3 points ago Detroit and down 31-18.

With Dallas looking hot and New York not, WynnBet opened the Cowboys -8 on Sunday night. By Tuesday night, the line had reached Cowboys -10. That comes as no surprise to WynnBet senior trader John Manica.

“It’s Turkey Day. Favorites and Passes are the usual fun bets the public likes to make on this holiday,” Manica said. “The Giants’ loss, coupled with the “disproportionate” Dallas win, is believed to be a disproportionate liability issue. Although the public will likely support Cowboys and the Over, but we made a strong bet at -8 on the Cowboys, and we immediately went to -9.”

That move came on Monday morning, and the rally to -10 came on Tuesday night. Total opening is 43.5 and came out 45.5.

“Total also has some respectable opinions, as we bet at 43.5 and 44.5,” Manica said. “I wouldn’t be surprised to see both of these numbers continue to rise as we move towards Thursday. The book is sure to garner support from the Giants and the Undertakers.”

Sharp face

Professional bettors prefer to play early if they feel they have an edge. One astute player did so with three games on the NFL’s Week 11 odds table, including the Thanksgiving night game in which New England Patriots Travel to face the Minnesota Vikings.

“I like the Vikings -2.5,” he said, also noting what he feels is an important injury of the patriots, with the center David Andrews (thigh) suspect play. “And the rapid change hurt the New England coaching staff.”

Indeed, the Pats (6-4 SU, 6-3-1 ATS) had to travel for a short week. Meanwhile, the Vikings (8-2 SU, 4-5-1 ATS) are probably eager to get back on the field and prove themselves after an embarrassing home loss to the Cowboys.

Bettors are also looking at eaglecommand contest, which begins at 1 p.m. ET on FOX Sunday.

“I took Washington -3. The Kyle Pitts Injuries hurt Atlanta,” he said, alluding to the tight finish that took place with IR with a knee injury. It’s an underrated team. I grabbed them 80-1 to win NFC.”

He is also on Seattle Seahawks football team -3 (-120) vs away team Las Vegas raid.

Moreover, he likes Cincinnati in Tennesseeif expanding Bengals Ja’Marr Chase (hip) cleared to return for Sunday’s game. More on that below.

Football college football on FOX

It could easily be argued that the biggest game this weekend is the Big Noon FOX clash between the undefeated Michigan and Ohio State teams, at Horseshoe in Columbus, OH. Just when you thought Thanksgiving weekend couldn’t get any better, there’s Gus Johnson calling in for a hugely important game in the College Rugby Qualifier chase.

Both teams are 11-0 SU, although neither team has dynamic numbers. Michigan is 6-4-1 ATS, while Ohio State is 5-5-1 ATS.

WynnBet opened this mighty game in favor of Ohio State -8 (-115) on Sunday night and shortly after, the move was initially in favor of the Buckeyes -8.5. By Sunday night, however, the line had dropped to Ohio State -7.5, where it had been for the past few days.

The drop is going against the betting action.

“Most of us have seen Buckeyes money,” said Caden Wickwire, junior trader at WynnBet. “The current -7.5 spread could be short-lived, as Ohio State is looking to claim a win before pushing for the national championship. The Buckeyes have a chance to avenge a 42 loss loss. -27 last year.”

Total openings were 57.5 and increased to 57 on Monday.

“We haven’t seen much action there yet. We expect that to change as the week full of sports betting continues,” Wickwire said.

FOX also has a pillar Iowa StateTCU game on Saturday, with Horned Frogs (11-0 SU, 8-2-1 ATS) aiming to stay in the top four in the College Rugby Qualifiers standings. As of Tuesday night, Texas Christian is 10 home favorites.

Given how well the Horned Frogs have treated spread bets this season, public/recreational players are likely to return to TCU once again, double-digit bets. That’s for the game that starts at 4 p.m. ET.

thrill of the chase

Back in the NFL, Sunday’s best game was the Bengal against the Titans. Tennessee (7-3 SU, 8-2 ATS) won 7-1 SU/8-0 ATS, while Cincinnati (6-4 SU, 7-3 ATS) won 4/5 SU and 7-1 ATS in eight games most recent.

Oh, and a certain stud expansion could return to the Bengali, who are currently the 1.5-point line favorite at WynnBet.

“It’s early in the week and there are reports that Ja’Marr Chase is on the training ground,” Manica said, noting that Chase could return after three games without a hip injury. “If he goes, then we will see some Bengals supporters immediately weigh in and the price will go up to -2.5 or even -3. Joe Burrow there are loud and contentious Bengals in the knockout.”

That said, Manica noted that the Titans were flying over the top of AFC South and they were about to say goodbye. During Week 11, Tennessee plays Thursday nights at Green Bay and won 27-17.

Manica said: “This contest was respected by both bettors, as we had bet at -1.5 on Bengal team, then a few hours later Titans +2 was defeated, leaving us have to step back. “This is a whirlwind, as the betting public can be divided with the sharp. Look for Chase news to determine market movement. Burrow brilliantly resists the hammer. Derrick Henry It’s definitely going to be interesting.”

I like big bets and I can’t lie

With this report dropping a day earlier than usual, there’s not much to report in the way of #MajorWagers for upcoming games. But the Monday Night Soccer game in Mexico City drew all kinds of attention.

Caesars Sports has reported a series of major plays on San Francisco 49ersArizona Cardinals conflict. And most of the actions belonged to the incompetent Cardinals. summary:

  • $220,000 for Cardinals +10
  • $120,000 for Cardinals +10.5 (-120)
  • Two $100,000 Cardinals line bets, at +400 and +380, from one customer
  • $130,000 for 49ers -8

As Craig Mucklow, Caesars Sports’ vice president of trading, wittily noted before the game began, also alluding to Mexico City’s elevation:

“Demand for a favorite to win and defend above sea level.”

Sure enough, Caesars got what Caesars wanted. The Niners hit the 38-10 mark, easily becoming a double-digit favorite.

Here’s hoping we can all live like the Caesars at this weekend’s soccer party. Happy Thanksgiving!
