With Amanda Waller’s surprise live appearance on stage at The Game Awards, Rocksteady Studios gave an overview of Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League in motion with its first gameplay trailer. After years of playing gifts in their Batman: Arkham game, they’ll now ask us to play gifts to kill those presents—but for a good reason. This new trailer focuses on their efforts to kill the brainwashed Flash, check it out.
Earth’s mightiest heroes are already under Braniac’s control, see, so it falls into the hands of Earth’s rather light villains to save us all by killing them. We’ll play as Harley Quinn, Deadshot, Captain Boomerang and King Shark, with AI taking over the rest of the team. Or it will support four-player cooperative multiplayer.
I’m surprised they still haven’t revealed the main character of Suicide Squad, the iconic superhero created by Jared Leto himself, The Joker. I mean, there’s certainly no way his character isn’t in the game, although they’ll probably have to use the sound. Rocksteady even resists the urge for an echoing hint of his sinister laugh at the end of the trailer. Such reserve! I don’t know if I could keep my cool if I had the privilege of working with such a squishy character, he could only come from the mind of one of the greatest actors of our generation. I.
I’m the game for Kill The Justice League. Rocksteady’s Batman is a lot of fun, and this seems like a welcome thrill. The brood has been like that since last decade, Batman. And I always play jet games. And powerful attacks. And especially the grappling appearance.
Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League is due out in 2022 on PC, Xbox, and PlayStation.
