Hello PlayStation fans! I’m Tsuyoshi Kanda, Producer of Resident Evil Village. Today, I want to share more information with you about Winters expansion DLC and Resident Evil Village Gold Edition, including the base game and Winters Expansion.
First, I want to kick things off with the new Story DLC, “Shadows of Rose”. Rose was just a child when her father, Ethan Winters, saved her, putting his life in jeopardy. This DLC story will feature Rose 16 years after the events of the original story, currently fighting for her survival. The game takes place in the “Megamycete” Realm of Consciousness.
This kingdom is a world full of traps and monsters lurking. However, Rose can only carry a handgun, some ammo and first aid medicine…
With few resources in hand, Rose needed to use the very power she so desperately wanted to eliminate. Her unusual ability can stop enemies for a while, and can also be used to destroy obstacles that stand in her way.
By using Rose’s power effectively, you can carefully target the enemy’s weak points. Enjoy a new survival style experience for Rose.
One of the fearsome enemies Rose will encounter is known as the Face Eater. This is a dangerous creature that lurks in the Realm of Consciousness, and can take life from other living beings. Once she catches Rose, she takes a significant amount of damage, so do everything you can to avoid them!
Now let’s switch to Third Person Mode. This mode has been something fans have been asking for since the original Resident Evil Village launch. We believe that both first-time Villagers with the Gold Edition and those who have played the original game will enjoy this new mode, as well as seeing Ethan’s animations from a new perspective.
In Third Person Mode, players will be able to see Ethan in action as well as when he is being attacked. We believe we have been able to deliver a new and unique kind of horror experience that is radically different from the original first-person gameplay.
Finally, we have more screenshots from the Mercenary Replenish Order. Please see the gauges in these screenshots. You can see how Chris’ measurements of Onslaught, Lady D’s Thrill Gauge, and Heisenberg’s charged hammers are represented in the game.
